   Proposal Description:
   1) Clarify the suspected relationship between substance abuse history and         neuropsychiatric/depressive symptoms in patients with dementia--more              specifically, we expect that patients with psychiatric symptoms are more likely   to have a history of substance abuse. This may inform later research              surrounding the safety of substances and inform further psychiatric research.     2) To look for evidence of a correlation between substance abuse and late-life    neuropsychiatric symptoms in order to better understand the risks of substance    abuse.
